This is one of the most frequently asked questions, as massage instructors, we receive from parents. Studies show that babies and infants who are massaged before bedtime and nap time will fall asleep faster, sleep more deeply and stay asleep longer. This is brilliant news for all the Mums and Dads out there when match sticks aren’t an option.
Also giving a massage before nap or bedtime will help baby develop a sense of routine, which will give them some much needed comfort. My mum always told me that babies thrive when they have a routine and I believe this is very true!
